What is your cancellation policy?

Last minute appointment cancellations are typically difficult to fill. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will incur a $90 missed appointment fee. 


Do you take insurance?

I am not contracted with any insurance providers and do not bill insurance directly, which allows me to give you the best care possible. I will happily provide a super bill (a breakdown of charges with treatment codes) so you may submit claims with your insurance company. Many insurance providers do cover a percentage out-of-network practitioners for in-person appointments. Please contact your insurance provider to understand your benefits. Patients are welcome to pay with HSA/FSA cards. Any labs ordered can easily be sent to labs considered in-network with your insurance provider, at your request.

Are you a primary care physician (PCP)?

While naturopaths are considered PCPs in the state of Oregon, I consider myself an adjunctive care practitioner. Local patients may want to consider maintaining a relationship with a PCP for their acute care needs. Long-distance patients are encouraged to have a PCP in their area. 


What can I expect from my appointments?

Your first appointment will be an hour long and during that time I will ask you a lot of questions about your life and your health history to get to know you and understand your health as completely as possible. At the end of the first visit, I will provide a full treatment plan and we will schedule a follow-up appointment for 4-6 weeks. That visit, and all other visits, will be 30 minutes. We will check-in regarding the past month and I will adjust your treatment plan as indicated. I rarely prescribe the same homeopathic remedies 2 visits in a row so you can expect to see a lot of variety within that part of your treatment plan. Generally, we will continue follow-up visits every 4-6 weeks until you reach more of a maintenance phase of your health, at which time we will space appointments out with an interval that best suites your needs. 


When you have a long-distance appointment scheduled, start by calling in using the preferred video conferencing platform indicated when you made your appointment. Otherwise, the appointment will proceed much as described above. Based on your preference, I will either send your supplements to you directly, you can order online through a Fullscript link I send you or your preferred online store.

How do Long-distance  appointments work?


The supplements I recommend are of the highest quality, made by companies that I have vetted and trust. Because of how supplements are regulated in the United States, they are not all created equally. I have a small medicinary in my office for local patients. For long-distance clients, ordering through Fullscript is the simplest way for you to get the exact supplements for your treatment plan. That being said, you can find many of these supplements through other online retailers but I cannot vouch for their integrity, authenticity or how they store their products.
